Web design is the design,
implementation of client content, and uploading of a Web site.
This includes all the graphics and text layout. The marketing
aspect of your business is done through submission to various
search engines and planning a systematic approach to conventional
advertising to promote your Web site and your business. Without
such marketing, no one will be able to find you. There are millions
of Web sites on the Internet today and the number is increasing
daily.
Why
do you need a Web Site?
Web sites help to market
your products and provide information about your company and
your products or services. This includes sales, service, and
company information - location, times of operation, and contact
information.
Ecommerce
Online purchasing of your product allows you to sell
anytime of the day, anywhere in the world! If you are just starting
a new business, your budget may be a bit tight. We assist you
with utilizing PayPal as an alternative to expensive shopping carts and the
need for a merchant account. If your business is well established,
PayPal may not be right for you. We will help you
find the best service to meet those needs. Of course, we will
also help you obtain your domain name and find a host server
for your site.
We will listen to you, communicate promptly, and offer
the best possible service. Depending on your location, we offer
several methods for the exchange of information, ideas, and images.
Distance is not an object. Three of our clients are in California, a
long, long distance away.

We will work with
you to revise your site and bring it up-to-date.
Training
We can also teach
you how to do routine maintenance on your own site. This represents
a savings to you. More complex changes or complete revision of
your site may require more expertise. A training CD is in the works and
we will try to cover all the things you will need to know. The CD will
start with very basic web pages and cover just about everything but
making graphics. Graphic design using Photoshop and ImageReady to design
and manipulate images will be covered in another CD. As soon as these are
ready, they will be posted on our site.
Pricing
Pricing depends on the number of pages, images and the complexity of your
site. A basic web site of 1-5 pages is $300 which includes 5 images and a maximum of
250 words per page. Additional images are $20 per image. Additional text cost is $20
per hour. The header or design elements are not counted as part of the 5 image limitation. A domain
name and a host server
is an additional $100 per year. Larger sites, especially when you are selling
products, can run as high as $3,000 or more.
Site maintenance is a minimum of $20 per month. Large revisions and graphics
work will be $20 per hour for text and $40 per hour for graphics.
